Lost and Finding Joy

There are times it feels so dark here.

It feels darkest when my focus is on the world or on my own personal needs.

You told us not to be conformed to this world.

You told us by the renewing of our minds, we can prove what is good, and acceptable, and your perfect will.

I know this life is temporary. I will rejoice in hope and be patient in tribulation. By your mercy, I give my life to you to fulfill your will.

I will strive to bless them that persecute me, rejoice with them that rejoice, and weep with those who weep — so that I might overcome evil with good.

Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21
