Lost and Finding Joy

I was taught as a teen that my peers and I would be warriors (Saturday’s Warriors) in the last days. I remember adding up the years to see how old I would be. I was taught even though we wouldn’t know the day or the hour; it would most likely be sometime between 2020 and 2028, (according to the math of the Seven Seals talked about in Revelations). They taught us what’s happening now — was coming.

It was harder to understand back then. It sounded horrifying. Some of the signs were taking shape in the 80’s; but it wasn’t anything like we are facing now. Back then, right was still mostly right; and wrong was mostly wrong. An “R” rated movie was much different in the 80’s than it is today. Looking back, it’s obvious we were slowly being desensitized to evil — being impressed or programmed in our subconscious through television shows, movies, and music. Now, you can’t watch a t.v. show without being exposed. Our children can’t even go to elementary school without being indoctrinated with some of the most horrendous ideologies.

Evil used to hide in the shadows. You never worried about being exposed to it in broad daylight, or on primetime television. Now, you can’t watch the Olympics, the Super Bowl, or an award show without being exposed to satanic rituals. It’s mind boggling. Evil now seems to be running the show in broad daylight — just as Revelations warned us.

I know it sounds like gloom and doom — and it’s most likely going to get much worse; BUT Looking at this from an eternal perspective. . .The enemy is clever and has blinded so many of us. God loves us so much that He is giving us more time to wake up, repent, and to choose Him — eternal life.

The time is now. We all have the opportunity to be His warriors — to stand for what’s good and righteous — to help save those who are blinded by evil, and be a light in a world of darkness.
