Lost and Finding Joy

Have you seen Gavin Newsom’s interviews? Notice the way he shifts blame for the recent fires; the way he doesn’t seem to care at all about the people he serves in California. He seems proud when he speaks of the “Marshall Plan” to rebuild LA 2.0. He seems to have no compassion for human beings who lost everything — their precious heirlooms, their homes, their pets, their money, their LIVES. At the Golden Globes, Nikki Glaser called Beverly Hills a “Godless town.” When you remove God from the lives of people, you remove compassion and love — No God, No Love.

¹⁶ And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. (1 John 4:16 KJV)

The enemy has been working relentlessly behind the scenes using people to try to eradicate the Holy Bible, God, and any mention of Jesus Christ.

Contrary to some’s belief, God’s commandments do not enslave us. They free us from the bondage of this world.

Exodus 20 King James Version:

² I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

³ Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

⁴ Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

Love is essential for humanity. Without love, we are all just walking, talking, task oriented bodies of flesh — with no real purpose other than gathering fleeting materialistic things, making power plays, and competing with one another.

A world without God is a world without love. A world without love is a world headed for power, control, and destruction. When we choose to live God’s laws, we live with peace, joy, love, and freedom. It’s time for us to move away from darkness by moving toward His light — Know God, know love.
