The other day someone approached Kevin and me. We were wrapping up getting the classroom ready for the next day. I could tell this person had something on his mind. Something was bothering him. I paused what I was doing and I asked him how he was doing. He said he was okay. He mentioned recently breaking up with his girlfriend. He felt alone and he wanted to find someone to share his life with. I could tell he felt defeated in that area, so the life coach in me kicked in. I set into sharing with him how we co-create our lives. We are co-creating whether we know it or not. It’s a very old concept, but we are not taught this in school. Too many of us are unaware of the power we have to co-create our own lives. I believe there is an overall plan for our lives, but with many paths. We are not victims of whatever circumstances are thrown our way. We get to choose what paths to take and how we respond to our circumstances. We get to choose how we think and feel. These thoughts and feelings are always emitting signals and energy. We are always attracting things into our lives with those signals for better or worse.
I mentioned to him that how we are feeling makes a difference. If he is feeling defeated, he won’t likely take the action he needs to find his perfect partner. Even if he met her, he probably wouldn’t recognize her. Also, she probably wouldn’t be attracted to those defeated feelings. It starts with our thoughts. Our thoughts determine our feelings. Our feelings determine our actions. I told him if he had confident thoughts and feelings, he would be carrying himself in a more confident way . It only takes a simple shift in our thinking, to shift our energy. It’s important to understand that the law of vibration (energy) precedes the law of attraction.
Kevin suggested he may want to start attending church. This might be a good place to find someone. Regardless, it was important that he begin to have faith that she is on her way. When he becomes an energetic match, he will attract her.
In the meantime , I told him a powerful action step is to write down 100 things he would love his perfect partner to embody. I told him to think about things they would be doing together like sports games they may go to, going to movies, dinner or camping, etc. I asked him to feel what it would feel like doing those things with her. This action step allows him to shift his energy from not being able to find her, to identifying her and matching the energy of being happy with her. He should read his list daily and think often of the things they will be doing while feeling gratitude. This will emit energy and signals that will engage the law of attraction which will bring them together.
This message is true for any area of our lives: Health, Relationships, Job/Vocation, and Time & Money Freedom. Become an energetic match to your desires. Get a clear picture and have gratitude. You’re life will expand and you will learn that you are more powerful than you know. You will recognize that you are co-creating your life.
I want to add something powerful to this formula. Christ said in John 16:22 – And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you. 23 – And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily verifly, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you. 24 – Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive that your joy may be full. (Connect with your desires. De-sire is Latin for “Of God.” When we are in alignment with His will, things happen quicker and your JOY is full along the way.)
~Many blessings to you and yours.
