Lost and Finding Joy

There is something unsettling about this record-breaking winter storm. My parents were without utilities for about 10 days. They were fortunate to have a wall heater to keep the front part of their home warm. They slept on the couch and chair for the first few days. Then they brought a bed mattress up front, so they could sleep a little better. They had enough emergency supplies to get by. My mom said when the trees were breaking and falling, it sounded like bombs exploding. It left a mess that looked like it had been a war zone. Afterwards, I spoke to my mom on the phone. She said, “The world just feels upside down right now.”

There are many who experienced similar experiences. Some better, some worse. We have been having unusual weather patterns. We’ve had historical flooding, fires, earthquakes, and record snow in places like Florida. It’s interesting because they have admitted to weather modification, but deny having anything to do with this extreme weather. We are witnessing things in the sky that are not clouds. They are not jet streams simply from moisture in the air. It is a substance being sprayed from planes, that stays in the sky, and spreads. This cloud-like fog blocks the sun more often than not. Over the past year or so, we rarely get to enjoy blue skies with full sun. It feels wrong and nefarious. Are people so blind or distracted that they don’t care? The world feels upside down right now.

I feel like we live in a completely different world than the one I was raised in. Not just because of the weather. It’s the DIVISION. The United States used to be one nation, under God. Here in the south, at least, most of us were Christian and certainly believed in God. I had one neighbor friend, only one, that did not believe in God. I remember being about 8 years old, and being very curious how somebody could NOT believe in God. I sincerely asked her, how? After all, where did she believe we came from? I remember her answer all those years ago. She said, “We came from our stomachs.” I was more confused, but it didn’t matter. We could have different beliefs and all was well. We could live and let live, and agree to disagree. (As I grew older, I understood what she was saying. She meant we come from our mother’s womb.) Back then, it was unusual for someone not to believe in God. Today, not only are people increasingly falling into unbelief; we are now witnessing satanic rituals during normal events. It’s mind blowing. It’s no longer one nation under God. It’s divided. The world feels upside down right now.

We used to have faith in systems that kept our food and drugs safe. We used to believe that they knew what was best. There were regulations in place to keep the public healthy and safe. We blindly trusted those systems. We let our farms go, because we couldn’t sustain them. We no longer grew our own food. We rely on them to supply our food. We were told that natural remedies were useless. We were told they didn’t work. We believed them. We rely on them to provide our medicine. We were told vaccinations were not only safe, but required. If we or our children were not fully vaccinated, we couldn’t attend school. We were being controlled without realizing it, because we trusted them. Now, the truth is coming out. Vaccines are allegedly the cause of many issues like, Autism, Infertility, and who knows what else. ¹⁷ For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad. (Luke 8:17 KJV).

We no longer are united. We no longer trust any of the systems that were in place to “protect” us, because they weren’t protecting us. They were controlling us. We no longer are ONE nation UNDER GOD. They have managed to divide us, so we are easier to control and manipulate. The world does indeed feel upside down.

There is a BRIGHT side to ALL of this. Since I was a youth, we have been warned about every single thing I just wrote about. We were told we would have earthquakes, floods, unpredictable weather patterns (seasons), division, diseases, and more. This is no surprise to God. This is the result of free agency. This is the result of spiritual warfare in this mortal world. We were created by a Heavenly Father who loves us, even before we were in the womb of our mothers. This life is temporary. This is God’s Plan. If we seek, we will understand His plan. We will understand who we really are, why we are here, and where we are going after this life. We can have peace and joy when we walk by faith through the valley of the shadow of death. . . no matter how upside down the world feels.
