Lost and Finding Joy

We are human. When we are presented with a choice, we usually choose a side. The world has given us so many choices over the past 5 or so years. Do we join B L M, or do we speak against it because ALL lives matter? Do we stand with L G B Q, or are we intolerant of that community because we are Christian? Do we choose the left or do we choose the right side in politics? We must choose, because the world depends on it. Right?Without God as the center it does. Our Founding Fathers understood this. This is why they included “One Nation Under God” in our constitution. Our common ground was found in God’s laws. Remove God. Remove common ground.

Now, we are fighting among ourselves over the most ridiculous issues. If someone breaks the law, they have consequences, right? It’s been this way since the beginning of civilization. Not in Minnesota. They want to fight against the law. Why? Because the sides get blurred with narratives and politics. If it’s not a narrative they are doing it for, it’s the money. Some are being paid to protest. There’s so much going on, it’s frustrating.

As we fight among ourselves, they are moving right along with their agenda. They are throwing punches at us behind the scenes. They are controlling us and our emotions like we’re puppets. Their attacks are strategic. They are USING us! They are smart while we are being stupid tearing our own country apart because of their narratives– their fake news. They are loving this, but they know their gig is almost up. They are being exposed — slowly but surely. They are throwing out everything in their arsenal because of it. We will be completely destroyed if we don’t get wiser faster.

Americans have always disagreed on this and that, but we would agree to disagree. We had God and freedom at our core. Civil, criminal, and federal laws kept us safe. Decisions based on morals and principles were made in courts for us when we were at an impasse. They removed prayer and the Bible from our schools and courts. That was one of their first BIG moves to dismantle our unity, our common ground, and our country.

They speak out of both sides of their mouths often. They are mutilating our children, in the name of giving them freedom to choose their gender. Children were too young to make big decisions. They couldn’t marry, vote, drive, or drink. BUT, somehow, they were smart enough at a young age to decide their GENDER? They also say “trust the science.” But not when it comes to X and Y chromosomes. If you have two X’s you are a girl. If you have X and Y, you are a boy. Simple, right? Not in this world right now.

2020-21 were big years for division. They used our common ground for preservation of our world and children against us. They spoke out of both sides of their mouths again. For abortion it was our body our choice. For the C -V a c, our body was no longer our choice. We were not allowed to go by our own instincts or common sense. We were supposed listen to those with “authority” or else! After all, the ones in the white coats knew what was best for all of us. We couldn’t question their “superior” knowledge. They talked about concentration camps for the non-v a c’ d. It felt wrong and nefarious. ***Don’t ever let anyone tell you what’s best for you. Trust yourself. Trust your instinct. Trust God, not man. Listen to the arguments, then pray about it and decide for YOURSELF!

So, what do we do? The narrative has gotten so extreme, that it seems impossible to find common ground. If you are Christian, like me, you’ve probably felt all the emotions. We’ve cried for our children and for our country. We’ve gotten angry and wanted to fight for both, but didn’t know who to fight. We have mourned the loss of unity with our fellow man. We have been frustrated watching from the sidelines, as all common sense seemed to disappear over night. We have felt helpless, like there is nothing we can do.

We are not helpless. We must fight back; but not with fists and anger. We fight back intelligently, just like the people behind the scenes have been doing. But, we do it with God. With God ALL things are possible. We do it with calm confidence. We unite anywhere we can. We find common ground again as a people. We stop listening to fake news and narratives. We stop being angry. We let go and let God do the rest. We trade fear and anger for faith and love for one another.

If we are angry or stressed out every day, we can’t resolve anything. We’re in survival mode. Our bodies are not designed to sustain survival mode for long periods of time. Dis -ease creates disease. We shorten our lives if we stay stressed, worried, and/or angry. This helps nobody.

The narcissists/psychopaths running the narratives in our country right now, love it when we lose control of our emotions. We can’t be creative when we are in survival mode. If we are going to do any good in the world today, we must be smarter. We must be calm. We must have faith and confidence in something greater than ourselves. We must trust God.

We keep our hearts pure, so God can speak to us and work through us.

We aren’t meant to do all of it — just our part. Together we can turn this world back to Him. It can’t be done with anger, judgment, emotions, and hate. It will be saved with truth, love, strength, and power from God.

With all the choices being given, let’s choose a side. Let’s choose God’s side.
